Stack Auth Update #1: New account settings, SDK reference, and more
This week, we improved our components, documentation, and contact channel APIs.
Welcome to Stack Auth’s weekly newsletter!
As a reminder, Stack Auth is an open-source project and we don’t put our own logo or branding into your components, so we rely on our users to spread the word. If you enjoy using Stack Auth, we’d highly appreciate a shoutout on social media.
New <AccountSettings /> component
The account settings component now has a refreshed look and has a simpler auth section. You can now configure multiple emails right from the dashboard, and specify whether they should be used for authentication or not; also, some settings have moved into more intuitive locations.

Updated SDK reference
The SDK reference at docs.stack-auth.com finally got a complete overhaul. We now update it automatically from our codebase, and spent lots of time writing content for it — check it out, and leave some feedback on our Discord!
New Contact Channel APIs
We now provide API endpoints for verifying emails. You can see the new endpoints here.
Automated version alerts
If you’re self-hosting Stack Auth, and your version of Stack Auth is out of date and there are important security updates available, we now show an alert banner at the top asking you to update.
Thanks for reading, and see you again next week!
