Stack Auth Updates #6: Last used indicator & more

Welcome to Stack Auth’s weekly newsletter!

As a reminder, Stack Auth is an open-source project and we don’t put our own logo or branding into your components, so we rely on our users to spread the word. If you enjoy using Stack Auth, we’d highly appreciate if you would let your friends know :]

Components: “Last used“ indicator

The default components now automatically highlight the most recently used OAuth login method, to help you remember what you used to sign in into applications created with Stack Auth. To use it, simply update to the newest version of the NPM package.

Language-specific docs

We now have separate documentation tabs for each language so you can easily switch between our different frameworks! The docs are available for Next.js, vanilla JavaScript and React, and we’re curious to hear what other languages you’d like to see!

More languages will be added soon!

Bug fixes & improvements

As always, we pushed several bug fixes and minor improvements this week, including:

  • Hundreds of new unit tests to ensure Stack Auth is more resilient in every edge case

  • Fixed a bug where signUpWithCredential failed in non-browser environments

Thanks for reading, and as always, see you next week!
