New Docs 📖, major bug fixes

We're so back 😎

Welcome to Stack Auth’s weekly newsletter!

As a reminder, Stack Auth is an open-source project and we don’t put our logo or branding into your components, so we rely on the community to spread the word. If you enjoy using Stack Auth, we’d highly appreciate it if you could let your friends know.

New Docs - We went open source

We’ve improved our documentation by going open source! The new docs now include live, interactive components that showcase Stack Auth’s features. While the documentation has been overhauled, we’re not done yet — more updates and improvements are on the way.

Bug fixes & improvements

As always, we’ve shipped several bug fixes and minor improvements this week, including:

  • Fixed a bug where self-hosted setups wouldn’t work without the EMAILABLE environment variable
(A lot of you ran into this — we heard you, and we fixed it!)

  • Fixed a bug where OAuth redirects would sometimes cause a 500 Internal Server Error

  • Fixed a bug where verifying a non-existent contact channel would throw a 500 Internal Server Error

Thanks for reading, and as always, see you next week!
